If I bought real choccy drops I suspect the child would eat them himself :) I think we've got some plastic lettuce from an early learning kitchen set - mr squiggles can have that :)

With regards to Royal Mail and TRU - It may be that TRU are sending them recorded BUT your postie is not getting them signed - which they have been known to do. Are the parcels actually having the Recorded sticker section on them or are TRU not bothering at all????

NO postie is allowed to leave a parcel (unless with a neighbour and they leave you a card if you have specified this is ok altho it is not really allowed - Other couriers differ) - they should take it back to the depot for collection or re-delivery. My hubby is a postie and he is left in awkward situations sometimes when he knows something is important to be delivered (special or recorded) and that person is out. He WANTS to leave it for them but can't so he HAS to fill out a card instead.

I would complain to your local delivery office.

is it definitely royal mail? i know couriers, catalogue companies etc. (next, for example) will leave parcels on doorsteps or in wheelie bins, but our postman never has.

Say you never received it, see what toysrus do then lol!

  • I feel like going round there house saying I'm interested and then examine them in great detail with a massive bunch of fifty pound notes in my other hand and then after outstaying my welcome by using their bathroom, drinking 4 cups of coffee, get up and say no thanks!
Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.

My postie won't leave my parcels with the concierge even though he knows them well and obviously the station is manned 24/7 , he goes by the book and leaves a card if i'm not in and i have to pick it up from office i would be HORRIFIED if i came home to find a parcel at my doorstep or bin
