Yes i would advise everyone to check properly all their hammy stuff after all the hassle it's caused to get it the last thing you would want is to open it on xmas day and it be broke, if i hadn't taken it out of the box i wouldn't have noticed the damage as it was in the middle and the hammies would have just got stuck

Oh god - I have tested all the hammies - I have checked the surfboard/dome, skateboard and U turn and the ball. Do i really have to now get out the slide, house and car. Guess that is my job for tonight then!!!!
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A

Going to post office tomorrow morning!! Already in a dispute with them over something else, maybe they just dont like me lol
  • Excellent points about postal deliveries.

I have just had a palaver with a candle I bought from ebay. Seller sent via recorded delivery but RM didn't leave a card when I must have been out. I waited a week and checked with sorting office as seller confirmed she had sent it.

Sorting office denied having anything for me although I phoned 3 times over the next fortnight.

Candle got returned to seller who doesn't speak English as a first language so she was a bit upset at first although I managed to calm her down. Because of the language problem and the fact that it was my sorting office at my end I decided to pay her another fiver to post back again and thankfully I got the candle today.

Please make sure if you are expecting something to check with your sorting office daily in case they don't leave a card if you are out.
Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.
