Hi there fellow hammie hunters, things seemed to have slowed so much since the frenzy of listings and us crashing sites about 10 days ago, thanks to a lot of leg work and enormous amounts of help on here I have now officially retired from the great hamster hunt, have the hammies my DD wanted, have a house, a couple of add ons and a ball and am waiting to see if I get my delivery from Spain for the set - have had confirmation email, but not sure if will turn up before Xmas - I cracked and bought it as I knew had to come back to work this week and so therefore wouldn't have the time to sit pressing F5, and so much else to do to get ready for Xmas. I will continue to look out and post on here any stock I see to help if possible. Thanks for eveyone for their help and advice and good luck.

PS Regarding the earlier comment from the Troll - no children were harmed in the making of this hamster hunt!!!!!!!

I did see something from TRU saying delivery can be up to 9pm, not sure if thats all types of delivery, or just the standard which is the one i got. So it may still arrive

You are being sensible with regards to cost - I had to be last year as i was made redundant and money was tighter than normal but thankfully i have had a new job for almost a year now so we are ok again.

The credit crunch can be hard for parents as kids don't always understand and peer pressure can be tough too.

I'm partially sighted and disabled. So I don't get to town often to do Christmas shopping. Trying to do majority of it online. But I think I knew about these hamsters too late to get them cheap lol.

if i remember correctly there was a poster on here looking for a furreal parrot - squarkers or something, my local argos clearance had a shelf full of these today.

ps does anyone know where i can get a lego star wars visual dictionary with the special minifigure, have preordered one on amazon with expected del 4/12 but they have now knocked the delivery date back a week - really want one for my son.

I ordered it last Thursday, was sent email saying would be delivered by 7th Dec, so pleased it has arrived!! I paid by visa cos i saw the paypal problems.
Hope it arrives soon and you get paypal sorted x

Wow that was good going, I have had an email stating delivery by tommorow and not received anything yet. It is for lego and a ball hopefully. The lego I can only purchase online so was waiting until I could combine the two for the postage so result.:T

my TRU delivery arrived at half 7 last night so expect it anytime:D

Spelling mistakes wont matter on ebay if people just search Go Go Pets or Hamsters, but I hope you get some bargains
