Well, its all gone quiet now....time to get something to eat, ha, ha.

Just thought this may be a good time to remind people that the batteries in the hamsters don't last very long, so to avoid disappointment on Christmas Day (especially if the person who is giving them has been pressing their noses quite a bit - ok, guilty as charged, they are soooooo funny), it would be worth getting a battery charger and a couple of sets of spare rechargeable batteries which you can charge up in advance. Each hamster takes 2 x AAA batteries. :D

Toys R Us - Nottingham Riverside currently have (well did 15min ago) the Yellow, White & Grey hamsters and the Green Bed Sets & Carrier Sets. HTH someone.

Only the white and yellow hamsters as of half an hour ago, and only 2 green beds left. I asked an assistant when they were likely to get any more, he was a bit vague and suggested I try again on Monday. However he didn't check the order that was apparently received today, as other assistants were wheeling trolley loads of stuff all over the shop to unpack as I was leaving.

I've been looking at rechargeable batteries, works out around £19 for a cheap charger and 6 batteries, I think its probably far cheaper to stock up on the poundland batteries as no doubt once the novelty has worn off the batteries will last slightly longer anyway. Will try and grab some £1 batteries next week when I go to the town.

I bought a USB battery charger (i.e. you charge it by plugging it into your computer rather than into an electric point) with batteries for all my lot they cost me £3.50 per pack (pack had charger and 2 rechargeable batteries in) from that site that we don't like to mention ;)

Yeah I asked too and was told they get deliveries everyday and wouldn't know in advance what they'd have so guess will have to keep on checking there daily - well can't tomorrow boooo and I bet that's when they'll have all the bits I'm missing lol.
Don't suppose anyone knows what other shops to keep an eye on (for add-ons and accessories) in Nottingham? I've been trying John Lewis, Toys R Us and Boots; pretty much all I could think of...

Off the top of my head, Toymaster shops, local small toy shops, Wilkinsons, Sainsburys and Tescos come to mind as being shops that people have mentioned getting stock from, but not all branches stock the range. There'll be others but I'm brain dead now :rotfl:
