what a nightmare! just rang play.com and i had to battle to find out anything as i used OH's account. all i wanted to know was if it was OOS or not. finally got through after confirming his d.o.b, email and address. it is definitely oos and they are waiting for a delivery to their warehouse. he did say however i would receive an a confirmation email in the next 48 hours and that it would DEFINATELY be delivered this side of xmas. so fingers crossed :D

Hope that applies to all who have pending orders with them! I ordered a surfboard on 13/11 which is 'awaiting stock' still.
Has managed to get Mr Squiggles, NumNums, A funhouse, A Ball, A Skateboard, an aqua bed, A Car and a Wheel. Surfboard on order from Play.com.

Can anyone help - trying to order on El Corte Ingles but cannot get past the page asking for my details - keeps saying phone number and post code is invalid despite trying several different ways of entering it

We all struggled! I can't remember what we did, I think we just put random numbers in for the postcode, as many as it would take. For the phone number put 44 at the start and then miss the '0' off the start of your number, see if that works?

I made sure I put my postcode into every other part of the address that I could, just so the postie knows my postcode :o

any one recommend very.co.uk - never heard of them..
One of the catalogue companies, same parent company as kays, littlewoods, marshall ward and woolworths. I got my hammy house from them a few weeks ago and I had it within 3 days. You get it on approval and then pay it off by card or a bit each month like a traditional catalogue company. I paid it off the day i got it. It was my first sucessful hammy purchase. I didnt do it online, i just rang the number and a nice human did it all for me
I think I am going slightly mad.....

he did say that all orders recieved will definately get them before xmas. he didn't seem like he was just referring to mine. give them a call, it might ease your worries. the guy i got sounded a bit like the guy in the incredibles..you know the one that makes the superhero suits? got a bit of the giggles :p

  • I see the argos stock is being snapped up by ebayers flogging the reservation numbers for £5.00 - 10 on there at the moment. I'll report them in a mo, but ebay take ages to remove.

i just googled a spanish postcode and put that in the +44 and the phone number but i think if you don't put the + in it would all fit which is MUCH better!

It certainly worked to put in the order but as i haven't received it yet.......don't know if it really worked!!
