Glad you got yours sorted - even if it wasn't the best result.

They're completely clueless aren't they! Definately haven't done themselves any favours for future sales that's for sure :D

Half the mums at school today havent got a clue either!!!! Cant believe it! We all have 5 and 6yr old girls and NONE of them had any idea!

Ah well - means my little girl will be extra popular after christmas!!!![/QUOTE]

I'm not convinced the hammie stuff is well made enough to last till after christmas! :D

Very few of the mum's I've spoken to have heard of the go go's either! - they think I'm quite mad I'm sure! :D
Same here, they think I;ve gone a bit crazy, one helpful mum looked at me like I was dim and said that they sell them behind the counter in most newsagent, I got quite excited until further questioning she told me they only cost 99p a packet and dont need houses or cars - she was talking about small collectable gogo's !!!!

Been in town today local Toymaster had houses (6 left) but they had put the price up to £24.99 they had even ripped the boxes taking the £19.99 off, I quiered it and SA said they had a memo this afternoon from HO, all go go stuff going up in price. I told her to pass on to HO I will never shop in Toymaster again so for an extra £5 they have lost thousands from me over the years.

Blimey - glad i nipped down to mine late this morning to pick up my surfboard then.

Been out all day haven't read thread since last night, to save me reading 25 posts and missing the current goings on could someone tell if there has been any listings/confirmed deliveries/hot news?

There were some playsets listed on John Lewis before lunch too iirc; but they were in and out in the blink of an eye.

    HTH,

  • Hopefully all the new sets for 2010 will now be made in much greater supply and help ease the market

I know that some people managed to get hamsters at john lewis earlier but I think that's been the only online listing so far- I could be wrong though :)

Yes, John Lewis had some hammies earlier and a ball or two earlier today.
  • Just a quick thought hamster hunters. Everyone seems to be under the impression that after xmas these hammies and accessories are gonna be everywhere.

When demand far outstrips supply it can take months and months for a back log to clear so it may not be this simple.

I remember trying to buy a wii after xmas a few years ago and still found it nigh on impossible. Got 1 in MArch.

Saying that i live in a small out of the way town so maybe easier for others.

Anyone else thinking that there will be problems after xmas? (add on sets especially as all the kiddies getting hamster and funhouse will be keen to get the other items...

    thoughts?

I think there'll be still nothing in Jan in the shops then from mid Feb you should be able to find things on the highstreet if you visit 2 or 3 stores. Of course ebay will be a good place in Jan for new stuff and nearly new.

  • just checked asda minworth in Birmingham..no stock since the 15th and no idea when more coming in.....

did you call, or go in a visit? They had about 10 boxes of hamsters on Saturday, all colours. They were tucked away behind some other toys.
  • Go go funhouse in stock at World Wide Shopping Mall, but not RRP - it's £30.

While this is still in stock, the so-and-sos have added another fiver to the price sharpish!

    Hi,
I spoke to a lady at Asda today and she said they were expecting a delivery at about 3pm but they dont know if the playsets and accessories will be on the delivery. Might be worth calling them now. They did say if you call when they are in stock they would hold them until you got there.
I think if they do get any in it will be the last for a while as she said they had "hundreds" in last week! Hope this helps.

Thanks for this suzanna I rang the store the guy said they are due some more in but they've not received any today, deliveries arrive daily between 1-2pm and they know by 4pm what they have got.
