Finally got a message from mail order express to confirm cancellation of the ball that never was, lol, and confirmed that the money will be put back into my account as it's still pending at the moment. At least that should be the last time I have to deal with them :D

  • Just a quick thought hamster hunters. Everyone seems to be under the impression that after xmas these hammies and accessories are gonna be everywhere.

When demand far outstrips supply it can take months and months for a back log to clear so it may not be this simple.

I remember trying to buy a wii after xmas a few years ago and still found it nigh on impossible. Got 1 in MArch.

Saying that i live in a small out of the way town so maybe easier for others.

Anyone else thinking that there will be problems after xmas? (add on sets especially as all the kiddies getting hamster and funhouse will be keen to get the other items...

    thoughts?

Been in town today local Toymaster had houses (6 left) but they had put the price up to £24.99 they had even ripped the boxes taking the £19.99 off, I quiered it and SA said they had a memo this afternoon from HO, all go go stuff going up in price. I told her to pass on to HO I will never shop in Toymaster again so for an extra £5 they have lost thousands from me over the years.

It's so annoying that even the high street retailers are playing dirty tactics. It's supposed to be a credit crunch and they're ripping off families at xmas time. Bah Humbug :naughty:

  • Following my earlier fruitless journey to Asda Living at Dartford does anyone have any idea how often they restock eg if they're likely to have any more tomorrow morning??
    Thanks
    Hi,
I spoke to a lady at Asda today and she said they were expecting a delivery at about 3pm but they dont know if the playsets and accessories will be on the delivery. Might be worth calling them now. They did say if you call when they are in stock they would hold them until you got there.
I think if they do get any in it will be the last for a while as she said they had "hundreds" in last week! Hope this helps.
  • Been out all day haven't read thread since last night, to save me reading 25 posts and missing the current goings on could someone tell if there has been any listings/confirmed deliveries/hot news?

I hadn't really considered it too much to be honest but you may have a good point there. I guess we will just have to wait and see. :)

I know that some people managed to get hamsters at john lewis earlier but I think that's been the only online listing so far- I could be wrong though :)
