    Hi All

Just noticed on ebay that item no 280426813906, has finished it looks cute but is available at Pets at Home for £3.10, just wanted to warn you in case it's relisted and someone wants it
  • I'm so dissappointed in these hamsters :( We gave them to our daughters for their birthday, and one immediately broke, you can hear the motor screaming inside it, but the wheels don't turn. This was on Wednesday, and the other is now sounding like it's on its way out already. Husband is saying we should just take them back for a refund, as we won't be able to exchange them now, but I paid nearly £20 for two of the little carriers that would be no good without them! Not sure what to do. Have emailed Character about the broken one, but the other isn't sounding too good either.

I've had a reply to my email from Character, saying I entered a contract with Argos, and it's up to themto replace or refund the hamster. So now I'm torn between leaving my daughter with no hamster, and leaving her with a broken one. Doesn't help that her sister has a working one, which they now both want.
  • I just called Geoffs toys and they said they would not take over the phone orders but would hold them so no good for me as I'm in Kent but anyone nearby definatley phone up and get them to hang on to it for you!!:D

If you've had a dispatch email you should be fine, my order arrived from Mail Order Express a few hours ago, all present and accounted for.

Yes, last time I used mail order (was around this time last year) they dispatched my order via Citilink and because I work all day the courier wouldn't leave it in a safe place/or deliver to another address - I had to keep contacting mail order to get them to change the delivery address - anyway didn't work and after a few week's Citilink returned the order to sender and then it took ages for Mail Order to refund.
    Grrr!
