I have done the same this morning in Blackpool/ preston but nothing! I think you are right about the internet or we would be spending every hour of every day trailing round the shops. I have enjoyed the chase so far but as of today I'm getting a bit fed up. I have picked up most of the stuff I have from the shops but got the house from Hamleys ages ago. Just want the ball and carrier now but the enthusiasm has gone. Don't want another day infront of the lap top! I have house work to do and Jo Jingles, and school run and food shopping!!!! :(

Have you done Asda & Tesco Blackpool? Will save me a trip ;)
  • Obviously my hamster madness has rubbed off on my two year old, she is sat on the table next to me drawing and has just started shouting hamster! hamster! hamster! at a very unlike hamster scribble she has just drawn - don't know wether to be proud or ashamed!
  • One Ebay seller has Carriers on, they have the Orange one for £13.49 plus post and the pink one for £17.49 plus £2.50 post.

Edit: These are buy it now

shouted at 2 people from mail order. It's not their fault but the computers- the computer made them tell me 3 different stories then?!?! If they didnt have stock they shouldn't have left my account with a pending transaction. Have insisted they send an email ensuring no money will be taken and order is cancelled. I appreciate the system let them down but why tell so many conflicting stories? BAD customer service yet again

On phone to mail order express- waiting for fireworks as they cancelled my order![/QUOTE]

Oh no! - what was that for Nuttygal?
I thought they had sorted all the orders out?

They haven't got a clue what they're doing. Was for a ball I ordered on Friday and they have screwed it up royally. Am now without a ball and thanks to blahdvd without a sleepdome. Am so annoyed :(

My two were watching a film clip for the Hammies on Youtube where the kids had 3/4's of the set. Their comment was "Wow they're lucky aren't they mummy". I've told them I can't find the stuff anywhere and Father Xmas is bound to struggle as well - so hopefully they will be pleased.

(My kids have been brought up to understand that i do have to pay Santa for these pressies - apart from stocking fillers - I don't want them thinking Xmas is free you know!!)
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A

Mine too - but would you believe my sister now says she doesn't want them  She hasn't paid me either :(

Grrrr! It's not like I can just take them to a local store for a refund! Nowhere here sells them! I assume I can return them to JL, perhaps with me paying postage, so that's 2 lots of postage I'll have paid. Never again

Hi Jellyhead, what did you order?

i tried telling my 7 year old that, but bless him, he cant understand that, he was petrified last year about santa breaking into our house, took hours of calming down after he asked how santa was going to get here as we have no chimney and me saying he has a special key
