:eek: that's obviously just going to go on ebay :mad: there were a good few of these when i went earlier but it never occurred to me to take more than the 1 that i needed!

What really p!ssed me off was I asked the lady putting the stuff out did she have any hamster stuff , just wanted 1 blanket & 1 bed , she said no , turned my back walked out the aisle , went back 2 mins later and she had put it out and this lady got the lot !

But how sad is this , the customer was stood at the top of the aisle saying ooh the lady has gone to check if she has any more , so I asked another member of staff what door the cages of toys came out of and went and stalked that door and as soon as the cage came out I stopped the staff member to look at the boxes :rotfl:
No hamster stuff though :mad:

Can't believe a blooming hamster has got me doing this kinda stuff !

how annoying, really think sainsburys should have made sure they had so many items per customer policy, as that's just ridiculous and unfair x

If anyone has Wilkinson's near them I would advise popping into the stores and checking what they have in stock. I work there as evening staff and was putting Go Go stuff out on the shelves tonight that came into store on todays delivery from Wilko distribution centre. We had bits come in on Sat, Mon and today.

Thanks for this, what stuff have you had delivered to your store? I'll be sending my Mum in the morning to her local one.:D

We have had various bits over the last three nights (no beds/carriers though, I don't think we stock these). My store has had in the houses, hamsters, wheels, car, etc etc (basically all the various add ons). Tonight my store had in stock ready for the morning approx 12 hamsters (a mix of all 4), 3 fun houses, a couple of balls, a couple of wheels, a couple of skateboards, one spiral slide and one car. I would guess that if we have had these from the Wilko Distribution centre that other stores may have had similar.

Well, stock levels of even the most readily available things seem to be getting low now. May be its the hamsters being shown on the tv and in newspapers recently that has sparked an interest from those who had not heard of them before (or may be its the sharks who are buying vast quantities for profit). www.hoorayfortoys only has the hamsters, the green carrier, the house, and the car / garage left which seem to be the most common items that you can still get online on quite a few sites (see the post I put on this forum earlier on today for a list of some of the other sites I found that had similar stock). I suppose its just a case of seeing who sells what and what they are selling it for plus the postage cost that will aid in the final decision as to where to get the items from.

I have ordered 2 hamsters from argos along with 2 funhouses, but the fun houses are not in stock, so the order is just for 2 hamsters (you get to pick when you go which ones you want). Anyway, have managed to get the houses and hamsters at another argos so have 2 hamsters to collect from a West Yorkshire Argos (WF Postcode) Rather than just not turn up for the order, if anybody wants the order no as I will no longer want them, then pm me. It is to be collected WEDNESDAY at a store that is open until 8pm. Will delete the postcode no's when/if they go;)
