The company who make the hamsters Character their website says no stock until further notice today, that doesn't look too good and I know stores like argos will be getting a few more deliveries before christmas but can they guarantee that they will be receiving hamsters and how many will they get? maybe a handful? with post becomming slower in december theres not much time left to find these hamsters and demand is going to be higher with everyone panicking come two weeks time when we can't find any hamsters and our little ones keep asking for them for christmas, we're all doomed!!!

Does anyone else think that suppliers are telling people there will be no stock because they are fed up with people calling them when a shipment is due / crashing their sites. They know full well that when the item goes on it is going to get sold even at inflated prices.

All i know is i'm giving it another week until the beginning of december to try to find these critters, if I've had no sucess by then i'll turn to ebay and it's inflated prices just to get one and also to save me lots of headaches and wasting time searching around. The driving alone to check out stores has probably cost me more money than just buying one from ebay for £20-£25 and I still haven't got one yet!!!!

Character do have stocks they're just not listing it because I think they had a bit of a cob-on yesterday.

Same here, no order showing but money has left paypal saying pending. I receive email from paypal to say i authorised a payment to them but thats it. if order doesnt confirm soon then contact paypal, think they can sort it

No it wont allow me to do this. When I click on the transaction no options appear. I also went on the transaction cancellation page and it wouldnt allow me to cancel it either. My order in TRU orders (which apparently doesnt exist) is showing as order in progress and it wont allow me to cancel it this way either. I would have happily gone to TRU in the morning and picked them up from there instead but whilst they have my funds I cannot afford to do so. I have emailed paypal so hopefully they will get back to me asap so I can put the funds on my paypal card and pop down to TRU. From reading through the past few pages I gather a few people have had probs with TRU and Paypal!

To make it worse the sarcastic email I recieved back told me not to worry and if I still required the items then to visit the website again and simply reorder! If only it was that simple lol!:mad:

i dont think so, an american person, firebird i think (?) posted in the wee hours of the morning that the hamsters and accessories are really scarce in the states and wondered if we were having the same trouble here. this always happens this time of year with something- everyone wants it, no-one can get it then there's loads about after christmas and by easter home bargains will have them on their shelves for £3.99 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
