Please could someone help me - Like many others I ordered 2 hamsters from TRU yesterday, the order is showing in My orders and they debited the money from my paypal account however I didnt recieve a confirmation email. I emailed them and recieved a response this morning stating that my order hasnt been recieved despite showing in my orders and they are adamant that they havent taken any money even though it clearly shows as debited in my paypal account. Does anyone know how I get this money back?

I have fired a rocket through the Play e-commerce manager to get some clarity over the orders that have been taken and gone on back-order.

As far as I am concerned it is unethical and potentially illegal to advertise products not actually available for sale.

A small time delay between stock systems and web order systems might be reasonable, but not if it is a perpetual deception.

I will feed back anything that I am allowed to share ... but I am pushing for complete transparency.

I got to TRU for 8.00am this morning and it was one hamster per couple. They only had 28 hamsters in total and no accessories.
After getting my hamster I nipped to ASDA next door and couldn't believe my luck. I got a car and a slide and my mate got a car and a wheel. This very same ASDA had told me the day before that they wouldn't get any in for weeks so you have to keep trying and hope you drop lucky.

raise a PayPal dispute .. PayPal will immediately freeze the funds and raise a notice to TRU. I am not sure that you can raise so soon, but you can check on PayPal.

Hi Everyone,
This is my first post though I have been trying to catch up on all the posts over the last few days.
I thought my xmas shopping was done and then DD wrote her letter to father xmas and asked for a hammie & ball.... nightmare!
I managed to trackdown Num Nums but my ball search is driving me nuts. I arrived at TRU 5mins too late on Friday though not sure Lakeside had the balls anyway??? grrrrrr!

Anyway, just hoped you might let me join in with the craaaaaaaaaaaziness its addictive !

My issue with JL is that you can't choose - and i need to be able to specify what i want!!!

Well JL are my heros, just collected pink bed and green bed, Nums Nums and Mr Squiggles and although I couldn't specify bed or carrier or which colours or which hamsters, had I chosen, I would have chosen exactly what I got.

I am so happy, please everyone trust JL, the packers must be parents because I guys behind the collection counter just told me they are having a wonderful day, dishing out hamsters to extremely happy parents. No one has had 2 of the same anything, believe me and just trust them, order away.

in the meantime, my amazon order of 2 hammies didn't arrive today, has everyone got their £7.99 order from last week?
