Hi all, I did a trek to Toys R Us in Sheffield at 9am this morning, found a queue of about 20 in front of me. They'd had 80 hamsters and 8 houses delivered overnight and were limiting to 1 per person as per previous posts. I've already got hamsters and house, but got a Mr Squiggles for my friend as I was there anyway...

I have to admit to being a bit disappointed, it was all very civilised and there was no pushing or shoving or hair pulling, everyone was most polite and waited patiently for their one hamster! I expected a few scratches to show for my troubles, at the very least! (not really!)

Anyway, after that I went to Asda (nothing), Tesco (2 Chunks which I left for someone else) and Sainsbury's (nothing). Got home all despondent to find DH has managed to get a ball from Jacinabox and a surfboard from Mailorderexpress...hooray!! He is also officially infected with Hamsteritis!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Am very happy now and am giving up the search for anything else (still keeping fingers crossed that they arrive though!) - good luck to everyone else and keep pressing that F5 key! xx

I'm new to the site so sorry if someone has already posted but when I was in Toymaster in Keighley this afternoon they had homes, balls and surfboards in stock. Hope this helps someone.

Hi all, just got in, only skimmed the last few pages - I missed about 50 !!! seems like you all had fun with character earlier on today.
Good news for argos though if it turns out to be true !

Quick question - has anyone had any confirmation from John Lewis other than the order received one? I'm getting concerned and don't want to wait in the rain at TRU over the weekend if I've got hammies coming, but don't want to miss TRU just in case it turns out I havn't !!

What would you guys do?

Is that for the Hamsters? I had an e-mail earlier today saying mine had been despatched.
