Right ladies and gents, update from my travels today. Dropped DD at school and off to Toys R Us in Southampton. Got there at around 10am and there was a mountain of Hammies on an end aisle shelf, with a vigilant shop assistant ensuring only one per customer, which meant everyone had a shot at getting one, and I was a happy mum with my Mr squiggles. No-body was moaning and chatting to other fellow hamster hunters I think we were all just releaved to get one. I then checked Tesco Home, Boots Argos and John Lewis, all without stock. The nice lady in Argos looked up garages for me for main warehouse expected stock date and said JAN which was a little concerning for a mum who wants one, and said hammies in again 10th DEC. Perhaps someone else could approach customer services and get them to do the same search? I then bumped into a friend of 20 yrs and persuaded her to go accross to TRU and get me a Num Num, now I paid ebay £22 for my Pipsqueak for fear of none. Imagine my joy when i just got in to find Wilkinsons had delivered my Chunk! The whole clan have found their way. Toys R Us said they were getting stuff in tomorrow and Sunday but seem to be strictly adhering to the one per customer, which although frustrating to walk away from hammies, is the fairest way to ensure everyone gets a chance

luckily the customers at the exeter tyosrus were very sivilised and calm and we were all laughing and joking about the hamsters and how mad we all were i was saying i should of taken a pasting table with me and sold tea and coffee with some rolls lol would of raked it in

i cant speak for the people after i left at about 9.10 am they might of got a bit irrate once the hamsters had started to run low

and just a quick reminder to say that we have had the forum manager put a post up a few pages back warnig us that there is no selling aloud on mse even the ebay group we have set up is not allowed so be warned other wise they will shut the thread down and that will be really sad and disapointing

Did anyone order from Asda the other day when they were showing as preorder for the 20th? I did and I have checked it just now to see if its gone through but the order has changed to "Status: On backorder x 1 " They have debited my account too!
