Ok so I have asked three for my PAC as they aint giving any decent deals now and have got to decide which new phone to get. Its going to be either the HTC Hero on Orange or HTC magic on Vodafone.
Can get HTC Hero 24 month contract £20 a month for 200 minutes unlimited texts free phone and £20 cashback from the site (Beepy) and £40 from quico. If I decide to add an internet add on that will be £5 a month so total cost of 2 year contract will be £540.
Can get HTC Magic 24 month contract £20 a month for 18 months and £25 for last 6 300 minutes unlimited texts and internet and free phone. Got this offer by calling vodafone. Total cost of contract is £510.
The Hero is newer and has better specs so not sure if £30 difference makes up for it or not. Has anyone got any better deals than this or is this about as good as I can get it being a new customer to either network?

Looks likely that 3 will be selling the HTC Hero soon (as well as offering some sort of Spotify service).
Maybe you could use those other deals as a bargaining tool with 3 (assuming you are happy to stay with 3)?

I don't have a problem with three its just they are not offering any retention deals it seems that unless you want what they offer new customer (without the quidco) they are happy to let you leave. Plus my phone is about to die so need to sort it out in next few weeks.0

True say. i have been told that for new vustomers t mobile is a very good option giving excellent deals. At the moment they are doing a deal with the blackberry for £28 for unlimted calls/ internet and messages but a business tarriff. my friend took it and then called back to say someone else got a better deal as an upgrade same offer but paying £22. t mobile matched it.
I know this is a business offer but just an example to show what t mobile are doing0
