Please need some adivice and help
Hi everyone my name Susie im 22 and im completely stumpped
I have a contract with t mobile and i had been a customer with them for about 3 years.
Few months ago i lost my mobile phone, i think it was stolen from Uni, its completely lost.
My partner works for 3 mobile, so he said he'd set me up on a cheap account because he gets it half price so i can get a new phone and he will pay for the account because its something silly like £6.00.#
Ive spoken to T mobile about this on several occasions, they blocked the use of my phone so whoever has it cant use it, which must be working because my bills have stayed the same, BUT, im paying £35 a month for nothing, i dont have the phone, the sim anything.
Everytime i ask can i close my account they say i have to wait till September of next year. ?
So im paying £35 a month for thin air
Is there anything i can do about this ?
The fee to buy out is so expensive i just cant afford it .
Thanks in advance for all your help

Welcome to the forum.
You need to understand that you have taken out an airtime contract with T-mobile that threw in a free mor heavily subsidised phone. You did NOT buy a phone that somehow had a disposable air time contract.
So, you are committed to the T-mobile contract till the end of the period - and even then you have to cancel it at the right time or it rolls on for ever.
So - your best way out is to buy a cheap PAYG mobile, give away or sell the PAYG sim and then as T-Mobile to send you a new sim that will be a replacement for the stolen one.
You might try asking T-mobile to reduce their tariff, but they are unlikely to do that.
Do NOT take out a 3 contract as well otherwise you are tied to that for that period too.
Oh, and change your boyfriend as he should know very well that you are tied to the T-mobile contract till it runs its course if he works for 3 and should never have exposed you to a double hit.0 -
As above, it is the contract of providing you a mobile signal and allowances to use on it. This is what you ware paying for.
So just get a new SIM form T-Mobile and use another phone instead.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
