On BT Mobile, want new phones.
We have been with BT mobiles SIM only tariff for some time now and it seems fine for us. We pay about £11 a month for both sims, with no calls included but two-minute calls to home are free. We don't make that many calls other than to home so it seems to suit us.
However, our phones are getting rather long in the tooth so we fancy upgrading. We don't need much in the way of bells and whistles. What's our best option? I think BT use the Vodaphone network, so would a cheap Vodaphone PAYG phone work with our BT Sims? Would anything else work? Should be look for something else and get it unlocked (or do it ourselves)? Any advice will be gratefully received.

There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

Your best bet would be a cheap PAYG Nokia which can be easily unlocked, codes can be generated for you on the Unlocking Stickie at the top, and then you can use your own simcard.
Reconditioned phones from Virgin are usually a bargain

and Voda and 02 also have reconditioned phones at times.
