Has anyone tried Plus Net for broadband? Looks very similar to talk talk but without the 18 month contract!

Talktalk seems to be a bit cheaper:
A year cost:
PlusNet = £179.88 + £132 ( BT line rental )
Talktalk = £281.870 -
I've been with Plusnet for about a year now. I find the service to be more reliable than Pipex ever was and cheaper too. It started out as an unlimited service, but they've changed it to limited now, although they say that if you go over the limit, the speed reduces rather than charging extra. They are just about to launch a phone service which has the same line rental charge as BT (£11) but with 240 inclusive minutes and (they claim) 15% cheaper call charges than BT.There's love in this world for everyone. Although this is only for Tiscali enabled exchanges. Customers on exchanges (like mine) who are on the todo list have been given an opt-out option so we can keep our BT link (but stay at 8Mb). It is something to watch out for because a) If you want out of Plusnet/Tiscali, you have to pay extra to go back to BT (there is no nice free MAC transfer), and b) It is Tiscali behind the scenes.0
