Not if the buyer asks the seller to sell outside of ebay ... no protection at all!0 -

As a seller - please pay within 7 days tends to cover it.
My conditions as a buyer though:
1) Yes, you are responsible for items "lost in the post" and Paypal will agree with me.
2) If you expect me to pay within 24 hours of the auction end, please don't take 10 days to post the item.
3) Please find something better than an old copy of The Sun and a Tesco carrier bag to post my item if you are charging me 3x the actual cost of postage for "packaging".
4) Stop telling me your item is rare - there are 500 of them on eBay.
5) Your listing says BIN or best offer so don't moan when I make an offer - especially if the BIN price is twice what the item is worth.0 -
I would put:
* If it says size 10 M&S jeans, they are size 10 M&S jeans. Don't underestimate the size of your (chunky) thighs.

Very Good...!!Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -
No flippin E-Cheques even though it stops me putting that so I have to re-word it.
Why should someone be allowed to make a payment that takes ages to clear then mark YOU for dispatch time?!?0 -
Thanks cyberbob- once again you word something 100% better than I could!Would me if they don't understand the basic rules of ebay it doesn't bode well.
1/ If item lost in post you can send the proof of posting if you like the buyer in turn can put a paypal claim through and they will refund them
2/If you relist on the 8th day the buyer can still happily pay then you will have 2 buyers for 1 item now who would you like your neg off
Also if the seller cant even be arsed to do a quick proofread can they be arsed to make the rest of there listing accurate? I can forgive the odd spelling mistake but that is horrificupsy-daisy wrote:Other than bad english... I come across these terms on lots of listings... doesnt put me off though!
Upsy-daisy- the terms I could have ignored, the awful spelling I could have ignored; but combined they point to a disorganised seller who doesn't give a monkeys and who will likely become awkward in the event of any problems. (and I would definitely anticipate problems taking into consideration the upcoming postal strikes.)
Although, this did make me laugh:LATLEY SOME OF MY HEAVY BUNDELS OF CLOTHES HAVE BEEN HEAVY0 -
Please note- I will not post to chavs, plebs, idiots, or generally anyone who spells words with numbers. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.
