    It's all relative.

Essex is Essex, in the 'posh' bits you get plastic knives and forks to eat your Pie n Mash instead of having to use your fingers

    OOps...I forgot.

It's not just Barking that goes into Fen St, you get Canvey Island and the nice bits of Sarfend like Shoeburyness ;)

Canvey Island is the blot on the landscape we don't like to talk about, i'll give you that..... that and Pitsea !!

Barking is just the Liverpool St equivelant of Ilford

its the nice bits inbetween you should concentrate on...... like, err...Upminster and Leigh

Your dad is obviously a highly intelligent fellow!:D

A mate of mine moved here from swindon. He was working retuning all the videos for channel 5. We spoke the once & he advised me that he'd never ever known a region where football support divided families so much.

Ah con tork propa wen ah needs ta.

I think my mate was talking about how it divided families. He'd tell me about how he'd go into homes, & in having conversations with the people he'd discover that 95% of the family had allegiance to one team, & then there'd be 1 parent & usually the youngest child who'd support another team.

In doing his channel 5ing, he'd see (for example) 2 or 3 rooms covered in wolves, then one room covered in west brom (bleurgh, I feel dirty!) or something similar with alternative teams...

I think his point was more about how it appeared in so many families. & of course the parents would tell him about the rows it would cause, & how cousins would join in as well, & how the one child who supported the other team would get left out of stuff etc.

I would say for falling out it is worse than the pool/everton.

But I would say near as bad as Celtic/Rangers but I thought that was a bit more religious based.

Swansea/Cardiff, Millwall/West Ham, both miles worse than the Scouse derby.
