Will write strongly worded complaint here!
How useless.

Have just done a round up of the months spend so far, and I am quite frankly appalled at myself!
From what I can gather from my internet banking I have spent:
£105 on FOOD!
£25 on toiletries and household items
and £120 on just spending!
Absolutely dreadful on my part!
And I'll admit I spent more on the BF's birthday present that I ever intended in the first place!
I'm actually really annoyed with myself, not to the point of crying but I just need to sort myself out!
Now this month I've got 2 utility bills to pay!
Water £75
Electricity £80
These are quarterly but I'm dreadful with saving a bit each month for them! Stupid on my part I know!
About time I kicked myself into touch obviously!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

So what does your spend diary say about it - can you break down the "Food" and "Just Spending" down further, to see what you are actuall spending your money on?CAFCGirl wrote:Absolutely dreadful on my part!
It's not that bad. I spend £90 on coconut oil. :eek:CAFCGirl wrote:I'm actually really annoyed with myself, not to the point of crying but I just need to sort myself out!
Don't worry. You are sorting yourself out. You've started the spend diary - that's the reconnaisance. Next comes the attack...CAFCGirl wrote:About time I kicked myself into touch obviously!

Suggestion time ?
Not sure if your current account has an attached saving account to it or not
But if it has why not set up a standing order to sweep across a set ammount each month from the current into the savings account to cover your bills ?0 -

No it doesnt but my latest plan was as follows:
I've got another current account with A&L, just set it up, was going to arrange standing order to that account for £100 a month, and then not use the abbey current account that my wages go into, so that my bill money and spending money is seperate from the other.
Was planning on teaching myself the hard way! All credit cards are now cut up, and store cards can't be used as I've decorated them
Is that essentially doing the same thing?Wealth is not measured by currency0
