Fighting broke out in Swansea's branch

(I was not there when it happened, but heard about it from various SAs)

:rotfl::rotfl:I didn't see anything like this at my local store but I read on here and hot deals about the Boots riots!

I did a large toy order online on the first day of 75% sale and it took pretty much all day to get the order in - Boot's website kept going down and then when it came back up it was emptying baskets!
I was actually off sick at the time else I probably would have given up - I like a bargain but I think it got to the stage where I would have paid whatever just to get my order in :D

I will most likely try and get the things I actually want with my points in the 50% off sale which usually starts just after christmas - would rather pay half price than risk missing out with the 75% off chaos!

    Croeso i Abertawe!

In case you've not noticed already, bargains disappear instantly - it's very much a 'grabbit all' culture for a disappointingly large percentage of the population.
As an example earlier this year there was a series of toothpaste/ toothbrush clearance reductions. I arrived just too late as a woman cleared the stand of EVERY reduced item while her husband bustled about stopping anybody else get near.
And don't get me started on final reductions in Tesco....:o
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

Does everything get slashed 75%? I didn't realise this and I've been shopping at boots for years.

Ive just booked a day off work in Jan for this :rotfl: I hope it's the day I think it is, but I have a very friendly SA in my local to work store who is kind enough to pre warn me, so I can always swop it if not.

What's your best guess? (assuming cheekily that you're kind enough to pre-warn us!)
