Boots xmas sales online and instore

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread.
A little early i know but ive just got a hand of "bootsing" anyway, does anybody know when the boots online sale starts after xmas and when they start the sales in store?

I think they do 50% off from boxing day.

The 75% off sale Last year it was the 14th Jan.

The online one usually goes live at approx 3am during the night. I sat up all night last year getting my order in. I managed 2 orders before us mse'rs crashed the website! :rolleyes:

The instore sale starts same day as online (or at least it did last year!)

Thanks so much cheeky princess, i think i will stay up to that mad hour and do the shopping aswell!! Lol cant wait till xmas is over so i can grab some bargains he he

off topic i know and i dont mean to hijack, but i applies for a boots card online 2 weeks ago, and i tried emailing them todayto see when i would recieve my card and it said on the form it wasnt a valid advantage card number. does that mean i wont get the points that i have earnt this week?

I sat up too, but my pre-prepared 75% off order crashed just as the prices changed -and, like many people - I got nothing. :mad:

For the best chances with the 75% reductions, go to the shop on the day, before it opens....and even then be prepared for all sorts of 'excitement' :rolleyes:

Last year I pre entered my order and had given up all hope of getting anything when something woke me at 2.00a.m. so I stayed up and got my order. I got my hubby to take me to my nearest large store at 7.00a.m. and was 1st inthe queue. I got some great bargains and still have a few in my present box! I have already started earmarking the items I want this year. I certainly wont be paying full price for any. Luckily I have 3 family birthdays in Jan.

Hi, what do you mean your pre entered order and how did you know what items would be on sale??
Am i right to assume you order your items from boots on christmas night and when it gets delivered you only get charged the sale price? Or have i got it all totally wrong

You can kinda guess which items will be in the sale especially the beauty / skin care sets which are 3 for 2 now so you put them in your basket ready then keep refreshing the page!

I didnt get any beauty sets i went for the toys and did manage to get 2 orders in. I didnt get greedy tho i only brought what i needed as pressies for my children this year.

This year i will try online but will go to the store early too. Never went to the store last year

Thanks alot, i keep asking loads of questions, im a newbie at all this boots stuff. Right i understand i have to do my shopping then keep refreshing my page around 3am to get the sale prices then order. But what i dont understand is when you said you managed to get 2 orders in, what does that mean?

i'm sure the 50% online was xmas eve after 9pm last year? i vaguely remember saying to dh that i was going to order a lego firestation for "next xmas" and him going mad...."we've not had this years yet!!". I wrote the product numbers down i wanted, and got up at 3am to key my 75% one in. got a fab ice dance r/c barbie for my niece -£13 instead of £50ish - how good will we look on xmas day this year?!!

Sorry to butt in but just wondering; what was the toy sale like last year? Esp on big name brands like lego, playmobil & the TV/movie characters stuff.
