    I remember my mum being excited about trying chanel no 5 once when I was little - smelled like cat p** on her she was soo disappointed bless her.
    Our skin can change over time too which changes the smell.

    Funny you should say that, my Dad bought some chanel no 5 for my mum once and it smelt like p** on her and me!!!
