Blackberry BOLD - cheapest deal?

Cheapest deal is with 3
£30 per month

18month deal - free Blackberry Bold0 -
Im on the above deal with 3 and its by far the cheapest (or was 3 weeks ago anyway)
I was hoping to get away from 3 but had set my heart on that phone and couldnt justify paying another company more a month for less minutes/texts.
The phone is great, but the battery is not! If you are planning to have it running push emails and things like facebook in the background, then expect to be charging pretty much every day.
Apart from that (and not great camera) im very happy with my choice.0 -
I have been looking at the same phone and the best deal I could find was with T-mobile, through buymobilephones.net
It works out to £25.28 per month:
Free Blackberry Bold 9000
18 month contract
700 minutes
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Internet/e-mail
Monthly plan £35 BUT you get 5 free months through cashback, so total paid over lifetime of contract is £455
Basically, a very similar plan to 3, but you get more minutes and you only pay £455 over 18 months instead of £540.
This assumes the cashback is paid properly of course.
NOTE: Both T-Mobile and 3 say 'unlimited' internet, but both have a fair use policy of 1 GB per month!
I don't know what happens if you go over the 1 GB on their 'unlimited' internet usage
Vodafone has a fair use policy of 3GB, but they are more expensive. Best deal at Voda seems to be £30 per month for 24 months0 -

I guess it's different for everyone.. I charge mine every 2-3 days and I use mine quite heavily.
I've read about the 9700 but it doesn't seem that much different to the 9000, just better camera and a trackpad instead of a ball. This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.0 -
Ive read about the new one (was told about its launch before i upgraded to the 9000) but i am guessing that the price on contract will be pretty expensive, especially at 1st.
Think the reason im charging so much may be because im fiddling with it so much! Although i agree before i downloaded email and facebook i could get 3 days average use easily out of it.0 -
Daily i use... facebook/twitter/emails/bb messenger and the odd voice call/text message and it lasts 3 days usually. If i sit playing games for hours then it will be a lot less.
My mate uses his Bold more than me and his lasts even longer... odd really tbh! This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.0 -
