It's a debt-free wannabee question actually.
Please don't pay them anything and stop phoning them. Everything should be in writing.
They have to prove that you owe something, not the other way around!
Also you don't have to show them the paperwork on the debt, they have to show you!
They cannot send 'someone around to take things from the house.' Bailiffs can only be appointed if you have defaulted on a county court judgement and it's clear they don't have one. Even then, bailiffs have no right to force entry - that's just rubbish you see on TV shows.
Send them a 'prove-it' letter.
Then post their reply on the debt-free wannabee board.0
