e2save.com help! Cancelling the insurance...

hi people,

I have recently bought a 18 month contract with mobile from e2save.com. The phone has arrived but I want to cancel the Phone Insurance and the VIP Gadget Helpline.

I'm struggling to find out how to cancel both so can someone with experience of e2save help me?

Many Thanks, :rolleyes2

Andriy.

This company is now run by a bunch of cowboys so make sure you have saved all the relevant T&Cs if you're on a cash back deal. You can email - forumsupport@e2save.com for confirmation of your claim dates, good luck you're going to need it.

I assume you also think CPW is a bunch of cowboys? In some cases, I'd agree!;)

  • Thanks a lot guys. Yeah I knew about the chequered reputation of e2save but I feel that being well organised and sending claims with standard special delivery should be enough! :j

I'm just waiting for the details on the VIP Gadget Helpline thing to arrive in post so I can cancel it. Any idea on when this might be? Thanks again.

You only need to send your claims recorded delivery, don't waste your money on Special Delivery. The TMTI (Gadget Helpline) pack should be with you in about 2-3 weeks from connection. You can always check your online banking and cancel the DD, I did both just to make sure.

If the TMTI details arrive after 2-3 weeks, doesn't that mean it's too late to cancel? Because your supposed to cancel within 14 days? Or is it 30 days?

Ok so does this sound right?

    1. I will ring e2save and cancel the phone insurance? Unless there is a specific cancellation number?
    2. Wait for TMTI details to arrive, then cancel through their website.
    3. Lastly, cancel my direct debit with TMTI through my bank.

Cancel the insurance staright away using the transaction/order number on your invoice, wait for the TMTI details then cancel online (check your online banking to cancel the DD as soon as it's been set up).

Email E2Save to get them to confirm your correct claim dates (this is all part of the back up plan). Make sure you save all your recorded delivery PO receipts, I'd advise you to take a copy of the receipt or keep it somewhere safe.

Ok thanks just a couple more:

    1. E2save don't say they can be contacted by e-mail, so is that e-mail address official?
    2. Can e2save insurance be cancelled online?
    3. How do I know my direct debit is set-up with TMTI? Won't it be too late to cancel when I receive my bank statement?
    4. Do I need cashback vouchers? It says I don't on the website but then in the terms and conditions and also when I log-in it says 'download cashback vouchers here'?

    thanks again!

I'd give them a call, you've taken a big risk and don't seem organised or sure what you are doing when it comes to your cash back. I've had cash back deals with E2Save for the last 8 years and I would never buy from these cowboys again. I've made the mistake of taking out my latest contract with Mobiles.co.uk who are basically the new E2Save with the same shocking customer service and delaying tactics when it comes to your cash back claim. You'll get the best contact numbers for E2Save by following the link below. Good luck!!
