0% on cash withdrawals??

HI Folks

I am trying to find a cc that will allow cash withdrawals that don't charge anything for doing so. For example Nationwide does, but as an exisiting customer, I am not eligible for their offer - rats :(

Does anyone know of any cc's out there for me to investigate?

I shall be looking to withdraw about 4k (which I think my credit rating will allow), and then 2 weeks before the 0% interest free period is over, pay the outstanding balance from an ISA. Damn storms, insurance companies, and not paying out

Thanks
M

Hi I am not talking about transfers, purely withdrawing cash from the cc, and not occuring any fees eg. % of amount with drawn or a flat fee of ie £2.50

Not possible. You'd need to transfer the funds to your current account from an MBNA card and withdraw from the bank I'm afraid ;)

The Santander Zero card will not charge you any fees for cash withdrawals but will charge interest from the date of drawing to the date of repayment (the standard rate for this is 27.9% APR). That's probably as good as you're going to get.

But, if you apply, don't expect to receive the card in a rush. Abbey are not known for their speedy processing of applications...

Edit: Also bear in mind that with any credit card, you may be limited by the amount of cash you can withdraw (e.g. cash withdrawals may be limited to 10% or 20% of your total credit limit with the rest being reserved for purchases and balance transfers only)

Which is the same as Nationwide...

Maximum 56 days for purchases if you pay your total balance on your statement, including any balance transfers, in full and by the due date.
No interest free period on balance transfers or cash withdrawals. Interest on balance transfers and cash withdrawals will be charged at the rates shown:

    cash advances 27.9%

I think you mean theres no fees for making purchases on the card in a foreign country.

There are no cards at all that will allow you to withdraw cash at 0%.

Right I tell a lie, apologies.

Did a bit of hunting and found you this:

    http://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/servlet/Satellite/1193206368023,CFSweb/Page/Bank-CreditCards?WT.svl=copy

Co-operative bank "Clear" credit card offers zero fee cash withdrawls at 12.9% APR.

It seems they are doing a much better job than the Santander Zero, but I bet it's very strictly credit scored!!

Good luck, and keep us posted ;)
