Used to be possible with the Streambox vcr suite but not available any longer, I'm afraid. Works a treat too.

Too bad the Ipod can't do .rm files directly. Stupid Apple marketing:mad: 0 -

It was v2.0.something and below of Streambox Ripper that had the capability of converting .ra files (before they were taken to court and had to remove the functionality). You can still find it on the web if you look about.
If not, dbPowerAmp (get v10, it was the last free version before they started charging) with the Direct Show plugin can convert .ra files. It's very slow though as it converts in realtime.
Something like HighDownload can be used to download the BBC broadcasts. You just need to hand it the link of the broadcast and it'll download the .ra file."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
I purchased this software, it's called radio tracker.4nick8 wrote:Have just purchased this great piece of software for £14.99.
You select the genre of music you like it then finds the appropriate station and starts ripping to MP3. Left it on a station last night and have already got over 75 tracks!
Download the trial version and try it. You will then get an email from Avanquest giving you £5 off the purchase price.
This must be the bargain of the year and all legal.
Here's the link folks:

PS I have no connection with Avanquest.
Enjoy!
I purchased it 5 months ago.
Then there was a major update and they would not even offer me an upgrade price nor a free upgrade as in their terms and conditions at the time of sale, it quite clearly said I was entitled to 1 year of free updates etc.
I now do not do business with them.
As for the software it works o.k., however the bit rate is lame and only some on-line stations can go at the top bit rate.0
