Most Haunted

I also think it is fake but somehow I am compelled to watch the 'special' episodes. I NEVER watch it, yet I saw an advert for their Hallowe'en special and then thought, 'I must watch that'. Strange!0

What happened to Derek Accora?
He was caught out on a couple of occasions bringing stuff up that he'd been told by a member of the crew which was just randomly made up. One was he got channeled by Kcreed Kafer or something like that which was an anagram of Derek Faker as well of some other stuffIf At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00 -
Yes he was set up, the story was based on A lion, A witch and a Wardrobe, he was too thick to notice the connection to the plot and just played along, got caught red handed and was subsequently "sacked" from the Most Haunted team.
Ironic as the whole team rig episodes if and when nothing actually happens.
The best episode I remember was one where Derek was "supposedly" in a trance and possessed by some ghost, except something happened (think something fell over) causing the team to run out, Derek instantly out of his "possession" being the first to do a runner.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

have you seen the advert where he has said a name - and it's turned out to be a dog! He then says the dog thought he was human (implying that the dog has channelled itself through Derek AND managed to tell him his name - so funny!)0

What a carp show Most Haunted is (I refer to it as Carry On Screaming) yet a lot of viewers find it strangly alluring, that must be down to the comedic presenters making fools of themselves week after week.
Such a shame as the premise would have made a good tv series if taken seriously but it turned out as a sitcom!
The American show Ghosthunters (T.A.P.S) is far, far better or it was to begin with but even that show apparently has fallen foul.
If I was a ghost I wouldn't want to been seen dead on Most Haunted0 -
I think Most Haunted is fine if you view it as daft entertainment, but anyone who thinks it's a documentary is an absolute idiot.
My friend 100% believes it and I just want to bang her head against a wall. I was once around her house and she played me an episode (to try and convince me it was true). In it they were doing some sort of seance involving a table. The camera was on the table and then it moved to Yvette's face and at that point she started yelling that the table was moving. Then the camera moved around the faces of the people in the group who were all yelling, "It's moving again!" etc. It only focused back on the table when everyone had said it had stopped moving. Now surely if you were trying to film a "real" seance the cameraman would have the camera constantly pointed at the table, especially when people said it was moving?!0 -

I have to admit to have quite a few series on DVD,
I think the best one is where Derek was possessed by a Monkey.2012 wins! can of deodorant, a personalised Bean, craft show tickets, Top Gear Live Tickets, Case of sourz fusion0 -

I used to watch it, but I can't anymore. It is so fake and Yvette's "I'm a really serious documentary maker face" just makes me want to puke _pale_. it's like they've watched 'Blair Witch' and thought: "Now there's an idea!"
Tbh it annoys me a little, since the only thing being channelled here, is money! Yvette and Karl must be laughing all the way to the bank for being able to peddle this tosh and make a tidy living from it. In reality though isn't it taking the pi$$ out of the viewers?
I think true paranormal activity is usually more thought provoking than scary (it can be both) but very rarely caught on camera, as it happens when least expected.
I'm not criticising those who watch it, but I think a truly genuine paranormal programme would be filled with hours of nowt much happening.
Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever
