TalkTalk will take 4 months to connect me!

Ive just moved into a new home, got a BT line connected, now looking for a bb provider.
I punched my number and post code into the check availability bit of the talk talk website and it came back with this:
You should switch to Talk3 International in 3 week(s)
Line rental should activate in 3 week(s)
Your broadband should activate at the end of September 06
Thats just over 4 months to wait for the bb!
I can understand if your on a waiting list to get a limited edition product or an item that is fewer and farer between........but to wait that long for a bb connection which isnt really "free", and then risk getting the service that Ive just been reading about in many of the other threads on here, youve got to be mad.
What im picking up from this forum is that with bb you get what you pay for. I used to be with Tesco in my old house, and I knew i was paying a few quid more than some other providers, but in the 2 years i was with them, i never experienced a single problem. I think i'll sign back up with them. I believe they also dont have minimum terms so you can migrate anytime without penalties.
