My husband has some records and wants to record them on to cds but how can this be done? Thanks

There's some programs out there available that let you do this. I use a program called Digitalizer to record my DJ mixes to MP3 on my hard drive.
You can download a demo version from here.

Its only a 10 day trial (no limited functions) but if you only need it to record a few LPs that should be enough time - or it's $25 to purchase the full version.

tryaudacity from https://www.sourceforge.net .I used it with a jack plug from the headphone socket of my record player. This attaches via a lead that I bought from Maplin...really good value. Works really well too.0
