thanks home grown feeling a bit better today just always seems that there is something else to pay for instead of the money coming off the debt........but i know i am on the right track which is the most important and in 6 months things will be looking much more positive.
just a bit fed up with looking at my bank account with no money in it.........but the debt is mine i spent it so can only be cross with myself but at least the learning curve has happened and should never be in this situation again!!!!!
am going to book in an ebay weekend and just go for it, also building stuff up for a car boot although think that may have to wait untill next year as too dark and cold now.
also have to pay for divorce this week as we did not get round to it and been apart 2 years now so need to get it done but aahhhhhhhh more money, although very amicable split so only about 300 between us which is good as could have been a lot worse.

Hi Jacey,
I am not really in debt, however after buying a house and seeing very nice things to go in it; am going down that route so need to stop myself now.
When I moved out of my parents, we bought bargin stuff to tide us over until we could afford what we actually wanted. I am still sitting on a second hand sofa given to us by a family member and we have been here 18 months. Honestly, its not worth getting yourself in debt for - i seen a programme on Sky 3 yesterday (on freeview) called beat the baliff anf the guy had spent loads on his house only for it all to be repossessed!
Definatley change your address on your drivers licence (if you have one) as there is a £1000.00 fine.
The only thing I would say is that you have £728.05 in savings (well done - more than I have); but it is gathering less interest than your capital one CC is charging. Would it be worth using your savings to get rid of this and then start chipping away at the rest sooner?

hi laura
thanks for stopping by. you are totally right about the house stuff i think the problem is moving in with my oh who hasnt moved out before he is all excited and keeps looking at new things as he doesnt really have anything to bring......but have def stopped myself on lots of bits and will wait untill we are better placed to buy anything.
i have been thinking about using my savings to pay off the cc and do think it is probably a really good idea just a bit scary to go from some to none but i guess as soon as the debt is gone then i can start building them up again.
not much else to report as been poorly but have paid a little off both cc this week but not much as have to send off divorce payment so hopefully be paying more next month.

have sorted out a load of clothes for ebay so just need to get the camera out and start taking some photos now........
new house is just about ready now so may get moved before xmas.

ok new plan for next couple of months want to have my debt starting with a 4 by the 31st Dec. which means i need to clear 1182.72 in 58 days.
payments that will def be made will total 506.38 i ahave also earned 207.00 from some part time work and planning on paying 150 a month onto capital one card from my wage. which will leave me with 169.34 left to find coming to just under 3 pound a day.
so can either get my ebay head on (may not happen as rubbish at listing) or failing that can take the extra from my saving to make this target.
in doing this i shouold then be able to clear the tesco card within 3 months, leaving just the dreaded loan.
leading onto plan two which is to put all the money i have been using to pay off cc into my savings so i can clear the loan by August 10 which is a whole year early.................woo hoo.............now lets just see if it works.
