Would people like to give their opinions on Tesco Value products as they have Lidl/Aldi in a different thread. Some of the things I have bought are below.
Cooked Ham-Yummy
Orange Juice-Yummy
UHT skimmed milk-Yummy
Oven Chips-Yucky
Washing Up Liquid-Yummy
Fruit and Fibre-Yummy
Still water-Yummy

I second Tesco's Jaffa cakes - problem is one pack is never enough.
I find with any own brand - give it a try once - if you like it great - if not don't buy it again.
Incidentally Asda have the policy that if you don't like any of their own brand foods you can take them back - so effectively it doesn't cost you anything...There is no need to run outside
