Looks like i got the last one on Play.com and I just wasted 2 hours trying to set it up - it's a load of rubbish! It simply doesn't work.

The webcam has a little sleeve which says if you have xp you can plug and play. I plugged it into my desktop PC and it said software was installed and fine. I proceeded to install the game and, annoyed that it reconfigures the camera forever, I started to play, but all I could see was a green silhouette (thats me) against a green stripy background!!!!

I tested the camera on it's preview capture software and msn messenger, and it was the same. I then went to the Philips website hopefully to get an updated drive. Did it several times, same result.

I then installed the camera with the philips website driver on my latop - perfect! Went back to repeat the steps on my desktop, same non results, Installed game on laptop, and not only was there no webcam image at all, but the originally good image on msn messenger went down the drain to show just green and pink (a bit like night vision in movies).

I checked the system requirements on the box (as it nowhere to be seen on Play's website) and they were well within the limits of both my computers.

So you've saved yourself a lot of aggro. I'm returning it now - you can order it once it's been returned.

Further to my last posting, it worked by a fluke on my PC, until I unplugged it and tried to plug it back in a more conveniently located usb port.

Paulwill, do let me know how you get on

Ordered and received two. Works beautifully with Skype. Haven't tried the games but then again I didn't buy them for the game, just the cameras.

b.t.w. You can also use a Sony Playstation Eye Toy as a PC webcam.

Good suggestion Mike. I use the eye toy cameras as webcams on my PCs. Definately better than the Philips. They do need a suitable driver though, just Google for it.

I inserted cd, selected webcam. Once it finished installing i did the following:
    Click start
    select all programmes
    Select accessories
    Select windows movie maker.
    Within there follow instuctions.
Took about 2mins to set up and works fine.

    HTH.
