Saving acc for my kids

Hi,

I want to put some money away for my children (aged 7 & 8) and myself. I can't decide....ISAs, trust funds, savings accounts etc.....my head is spinning!:o

I can put away at least £1000 each per year...what would you suggest???

Please help!

    Hi,

    You can get Savings Acc that if you pay one of your benifits like ctc you get a real good rate. I'm sure the woolwich had one but can't find atm, some rates are low you could look at isa'a for them, I realise they wont pay tax atm but just for rate.
    Thought I saw the light at the end of the tunnel....Then got hit by a train! :A

    If you're looking for no risk a savings deposit account is the way to go.

    Take a look at https://www.moneyfacts.co.uk and search for children's accounts to find the best rate.
