Too funny :rotfl:
I sang the whole song to my kids this morning and got the video up on You Tube followed by a couple of Mika numbers.

You'll find that nothing much has changed on this forum while you were away

As it happens, I wasn't lurking at all, sorry to disappoint.
I'm really not exactly the lurking and silent type. Can't keep quiet.
My apologies, you obviously have been away from this board for months and months, yet just happened to log back in on the very day and at the very hour that someone creates a "where is so and so" thread, allowing you to say "hey, what about me?" and then log off again for another few weeks after that post...
My mistake, and so apologies again for my suspicions. So, why did you leave for so long?"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0 -
Eh? The thread was created because she'd returned, not the other way around.0

As a newbie it would be a bit rich of me to welcome anyone back. Nonetheless I can see from NDG's (as I believe she is familarly referred to) style, and the general response to her that she is a very popular poster. Consider me the new starter at the back of the crowd trying to ingratiate himself by joining in with the "for she's a jolly good fellow".
Because you are... NDG. A jolly good fellow.0 -
Chillax Harry. Can't you welcome someone back to the forum without suspicion.
I'm going to be taking a break soon. And no, I'm not going to be secretly logging in.
Well, as I was treated with suspicion when I first arrived, and just about every day since, no wonder I do the same with others.
It's nice to welcome newbies and oldies to this forum as it seems to be dominated by a few individuals and so a bit of new blood is always welcome. I'm just confused as to why some people have to make such a song and dance about joining/leaving/re-joining. NDG's back story, especially, is all a bit cloak and dagger for me, very strange."I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. She didn't make a song and dance, she just quietly stopped posting one day and then just as quietly, started posting again.
No announcements, no histronics, no dramas. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
