But it's never short of people with big chips on their shoulders.....:p
Nor is it short of posters who've called the recession wrong from start to finish. Big on talk, short on substance.
!!!!!!?, NDG, Generali, your dear self would/ might have cost people a fortune if "anyone" had been reading "the quality" posts you all make.
Stunningly poor quality predictions from the lot of these posters. Are they any less arrogant for the experience?0 -
Hey wintersunshine. Ever considered not posting here for a while and seeing if someone starts a thread to welcome you back?
Please.....0 -
Maybe this is the point where we revert the conversation back to cake? As it was a page earlier?
I just ate a really weird cake bar thing I bought in a hurry that I thought was a cereal bar type thing, and turned out to be mint-choc chip flavour. With raisins and things. Slightly addictive - which is good, as I bought a whole packet, but, ultimately, really quite disgusting.
Shame there's no winter sunshine round here.
I should post under the name Grey Day or something.0 -

Please.....
Have you, or any of your buddies, ever thought of putting a financial health warning on your posts?
Something simple like this
"Warning - reading my posts could seriously damage your wealth"0 -

Too much sunshine here. 43C (109.3F) in the shade in the back yard on Sunday and I was doing a BBQ for 25 so standing by a hot grill. Now I understand why Aussies drink their beer so cold.0 -

That's exactly what they are, predictions, and some will be right, while others will be wrong. Most people understand that. We are all grown-ups here, and no one who is an adult should act entirely on the advice and predictons they see on an internet forum. We are all 100% responsible for what we choose.
Isn't it still good to hear others' points of view, even when we don't agree?
In my own case, I don't know what you are blathering on about. I STR'd, had a bloody hard time doing it, but came out of it with a property I'm more than happy with. However, even if it had been a total !!!!-up, I would have had no reason to blame anyone but myself.
Oh, and another prediction; this recession isn't over yet.;)0 -

And your qualifications for dishing out financial advice are????????0 -

DH bought lardy cake at the weekend. Urgh. I'm plnning our cakes for Christmas party...I always revert to old favourites, but think about doing new things. I also can't decided what to send in to dh's office...last yearI did beautiful little biscuits, I was really proud of them, they were really pretty, it has to be robust for travel, whatever i make.0 -

I suppose there are worse things than grey days.0 -

No.
Have you considered boiling your head?
I don't really see your point. You pop up every few months, have a pop at everyone you can think of and disappear again. You don't add anything constructive, you just troll.
Presumably you're a sock puppet for someone and TBH I don't give a tinker's cuss who. I have you on ignore and only read your posts on this thread because I am interested to see what people say about NDG, probably the most popular poster this board has had in my time.
I await your spittle flecked invective with utter disinterest.
Toodle pip!0
