Morning all! Need to go to Argos to pick up the unit thingy I reserved yesterday, then going for a meal and Sarah Dunant in Ilkley with my book club. Had a shower last night so I'm knackered now, going to curl up and read for a bit I think.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

so you're basing your decision to chuck him without road testing a very important aspect of his compatibility..... now i'm not suggesting you sleep with him as you do that in your own time........ but you need to do some misbehavin to get a feel for his abilities/bedside manner etc...

beware tho! sometimes the starters can be brill but main course is nothing to write home about (remember runnerman!!)
That's a good point I suppose - was a bit spoiled on that front by the *ahem* abilities of Shrek and Mr Sunday...bit worried that I'm due another 'having to hide in the loo cos it's so bad' situation! :rotfl:

I am freezing inside but it is lovely and warm in the garden.
Wish I wasn't going out in a bit - need to do hanging baskets and tubs.

I think Sal is right - there is always much more instant 'wow' with a challenge.. but while you don't want to string him along, if you like him, do you think it's worth giving it a chance to get to know him, and see if there could be some long term gentle nice 'wow' rather than right-now-dramatic-WOW sort of 'wow'....?
That's what I'm hoping, that something will develop rather than an instant spark. Fingers crossed and I'm trying to stay positive but I think I know at the back of my mind that it's not going to happen.
and i so know how that feels too.......
Moi aussi. And I used to just accept it as normal, but I'm not sure if it's because I've hit my mid-thirties or what, but I really struggle to cope without it!! :o
