Morning all, I feel just like PAP's smiley this morning, been in work since 8am and still not woken up. Should have taken some cola in with me, I don't drink tea/coffee very much but need a caffeine boost.

    I do have a gentleman caller. :o

It's the guy I went out with a couple of weeks ago. He's nice. Very sweet, very attentive, stable, sensible, quite attractive, everything I *should* want, in fact.

Keep hoping something will click into place, but it doesn't seem to be doing. He's very serious about me, wants a long term relationship, keeps talking about holidays next year, helping me decorate...he really wants to take care of me. There's just no wow factor.

Think I'm going to have to let him down gently but I hate upsetting people.

Hi Jacs, the reason I understand it is to 'flush' out your body. Instead of burning food in the normal sense which the body can do with minimum stress/effort it is now burning fat. Burning fat is hard on your liver as its doing all the work you have to think your stomach and intestines are basically 'empty' so are doing no work in keeping your body going. Therfore all your 'toxins' are increaced due to the work its doing. The way your body gets rid of thse are through filtering them through your kidneys but if you are drinking small amounts per day your kidneys can't function as they should and you could end up in toxic shock.

That said eveyone should be drinking at least 2litres a day anyways considering your body is something like 60% water. You can prob tell when you start practical nursing when a person is deficient in water as their blood becomes gloppy ~ eww :rotfl:

How you doing on CD btw? I guess you have had a few weigh-in's? Are you finding it easy with being at uni and stuff?
