I used mine in tesco today too. They had to triple check I could use it. Assistant was embarrassed herself and said the policy has changed daily recently so she was keeping herself right. At least she did take it and apologised.

    Thanks OP

I was told at Tesco Chelmsford tonight that they do not accept ANY internet coupons - when I asked why not, they just said it "had been brought in two weeks ago". Helpful. Same thing happened last time I tried printing off a coupon (months ago) but read somewhere here that Tesco policy had changed - now it seems to have changed back?

I know, its very tragic isn't it? No free bread. Almost topped myself, but was consoled by rummaging in the bargain bin for some wholemeal seeded bread: much nicer than white bread, but I actually had to pay for it - the cheek!

Edit: just noticed on the coupon you can report problems at https://www.safecoupons.co.uk/check/contact.asp
    - have done so

great freebie, looking forward to a loaf!
  • Used my coupon in Sainsburys yesterday. The SA looked at me a bit weirdly, the bar code on the coupon didn't scan so he had to enter all the details (including the price) manually but it worked, that's the main thing!! Thanks OP!!!
