Oooh! I never thought to organize a group crossing! I booked us on the overnight ferry from Hull. It'll be like a mini cruise for the kids, and DH and I will hopefully get a bit of a rest. And DH's parents live in Hull, so we can stop for a cuppa whilst we're there.

Found a P&O 15% discount code CSMA01 that worked from this site - if it's of any use to anyone else going.
  • Well done evryone!!!

I too have won this prize but I have a family of 5 instead of four. One being only 9 weeks old and I'm breastfeeding and they won't budge. So either means forfeit the holiday and my other two children miss out when its also my daughters 7th Birthday on the 13th Nov (how gutted would she be) or leave the baby with my mum in which I would have to freeze his milk and I may even dry out whilst away so he would have to go on formula. I told them I will pay any additionals but they say no!! Any thoughts!!

Your baby would be free to enter the park and you could just take a travel cot... your baby won't be eating anything... it won't cost Ford anymore... just don't add your baby to the form... I can't see them refusing you entry to the party if you have a baby in arms.... if it was me I would just sneek baby in...
  • Thanks, just spoke to them and they are waiting from Ford to come back with a decision as so many families are either one or three children! Will be gutted if have to leave baby behind as its my daughters birthday and we are a family and could make me postnatal but won't risk taking him and getting caught out once there. Would rather go through proper channels, too honest for my own good!!

    Hi,

Also won this competition. My issue is that one of my children is now 12, and this doesn't meet the criteria of being under 12.

Spoke to the 'Helpline' yesterday (Tuesday) morning to see if anything can be done (Can I pay extra for the 12yr old for example), and they are awaiting guideance from Ford.

Probably will give them another call later today to 'chase', given that they want confirmation by the end of the week.

    Iain.

I'm also still waiting to hear from Ford re family of 5 (Have offered to pay and am leaving 1 behind anyway). Regarding the lady with baby breastfeeding, I would have no hesitation in taking my baby (as long as you have her/his passport) as surely that is classed as a babe in arms and you wouldn't pay to enter park, etc.

I just wish Ford would hurry up and clarify things as I am losing my excitement over even winning the prize!
