people B*it*h about the amount of crime thats commited on the internet, but the majority of the time, its people like you who are the victims, because your so stupid as to store sensitive details on a word document.
heres a happy thought? next time somebody you know is the victim of internet crime, such as having their credit card details stolen, why dont you go ahead and ask them if they stored those same details on a word document entitled "credit card details" and then ask them if they painted a nice fat bullseye right on their desktop aswell.
i dont like criminals, ivenever broken the law in my life, but people like Miller over here really do deserve everything they get.
Alright, alright, were all friends here! You have no idea what he calls that word doc, it may be password protected, on a USB key drive and then encrypted for all you know!
Give the guy a break!

What a laugh, I cant belive so many people trore passwords in documents, excel or word whatever.
It could be worse I have customers that use postit notes stuck to their monitors with usernames and passwords to travel booking systems.
the only place to store any passwords and usernames answeres to securit questions whatever is in your head, I never even use the remember username or password options
if your really strugleing email them to me0 -

1) microsoft office password protection can be broken by almost anyone... a script kiddie would be offended being asked to crack it.
2) he didnt specifiy it was encrypted on a usb drive and therefore could mislead somebody who took notice of him.
3) give the guy a break? well, while i do enjoy havin a go at people (guilty as charged) my point is that storing passwords and sensitive data in the way mentioned on this thread poses a security risk... if he takes what i and others have said seriously, we could have saved him from being yet another victim of internet crime.
at last, the sensible people have come out and said the 'keep it in your head' policy. Take their advice if you want your data to be secure.0
