Best incentive for an account that will not have a salery paid into it?

Hello!
I've to open a joint account with my flatmate, we're going to pay our rent into it by standing order as our (insaine) estate agent won't take the rent from two serparte accounts. Are there any accounts that offer an incentive to open them? Niether of us have regular saleries that we could transfer in for a bit, then transfer out.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
p.s sorry about the spelling, dyslexic person pushed for time here.

RBS are offering £100 for switching an account. I'm not sure on details but there's a thread on here somewhere.
It has to be held at a branch in Scotland to qualify, but if you apply online you can select which branch you want to open it at anyway
Take care

Thanks for the info guys. I'm not sure if RBS will give me the money without transfering my salery, but I'll check it out and post my findings here, if people are interested.
Thanks again, you're all stars!0 -
For RBS I'm just planning on switching an old dormant DD over from my old Shabbey National account and throwing £100 in, which I'm planning to immediately withdraw
