Hi,
I recently spotted the new PSPGo on sale at Play.com for £149.99, as the current cheapest price available was £199.99 I didn't think twice about placing an order. I few hours later when checking the status of my order, I noticed it had been cancelled and I then received an e-mail from play stating
" It has come to our attention that this item has been incorrectly listed on our website and we are unable to supply the item to you at the price advertised. In this case we have cancelled your order, please note that your credit/debit card has not been charged."
Does anyone know where I stand on this? I'm expecting there are entitles too do this as they had not taken payment, but for a £50 saving I figure it's worth checking.
Cheers,
Ollie

you have no rights, its down to them0

Yeah, until they take payment they have not accepted your order, so there isn't really anything you can do other then write to them and appeal to their better nature.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0

They can wiggle out of it using the "Invitation to Treat" caveat.Official SOS Club number 011 - Dry until 17/11/20090

None of the above applies, Play.com are based in the Channel Islands so the UK SOGA and laws do not apply.0

Did anyone actually mention SOGA?0

I would be interested to know if anyone has ever taken a company to court and won because of because they had to pay a higher price at another store to buy an item that was advertised cheaper in a store but was not sold at that price.

Lucky escape?
PSPGo only lets you play games downloaded from sony, Game is never yours to own?
What happens when it dies, will you get all your games back that you legally paid for?
Thanks but no thanks.0
