sim swapping between handsets

I like to swap my sim between handsets (depending on where I am going and what I am doing), can my service provider tell that I do this or does my sim stay registered to the original handset? Any comments appreciated on this question.

You can swap as much as you like between handsets as long it works (i.e. no compatibility issues). But the minutes/texts etc are always tracked against each sim.0

Your insurance, if you have any with the network, is only valid if the sims in the handset it was supplied with.
Yes, the network can tell which handset you're using. The networks logs the IMEI of the phone every time it connects.0 -
Thanks for replies. No insurance as neither are expensive handsets-just wondered if big brother reached that far!0
