Ours are doing nicely too - we went sloe picking a couple of weeks ago, last time I wanted to pick them I left it a bit later and they had all gone!

We bought a couple of 'kilner' type jars from Ikea, cheap own brand gin and granulated sugar. I've also seen some recipes that say you should add almond essence too? Anyway there are 2 jars on the go here - and we collected lots of elderberries too, so there's a demijohn of elderberry wine on the go as well.

A good website I found was this one: http://www.sloe.biz/ with lots of recipes, and a forum as well - and it even gives instructions of what to do with the sloes when they are finished with (sloe gin chocolates, anyone?!)
    :j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
