Price Match Orange Select 500?
I've been on Orange Select 500 (£25 per month) and had a ruck with them so I want to change networks after 6 years of giving them my business. Anyone know of a similar deal on another network? (500 minutes anytime any network minutes, no texts).
My contact expired yesterday so I'm in the block seat if anyone out there knows of a deal!
Any help would be good. . . . . . mumpy!

If you wanted to go to Three, you could get 750 anytime, any network minutes (plus 150 "unwanted" texts) for £30 on the Direct VTT price plan 1000 here: http://www.three.co.uk/priceplans/directVTTplans.omp
Or you could go for the Talk & Text 600 price plan, where you get 500 anytime, any network minutes and 100 texts for the same price as the Direct VTT 1000 price plan of £30 here: http://www.three.co.uk/priceplans/paymondetail.omp?cid=1124817779964
You could even get 500 anytime, any network minutes and 200 texts on T-Mobile, this is at £35 on the Relax 35 price plan, however, if you aren't too fussed about the phone you get, you can pick up the Nokia 3120 from CoolNewMobile, and with their deal on the Relax 35 plan, you will get cash back at months 6 and 12 to the amount of the line rental, following you adhere to their T&Cs about cashback etc. Here is the deal: http://www.coolnewmobile.co.uk/network2.asp?id=1&network=T+Mobile&submit.x=102&submit.y=13

O2 PAYG may be able to offer you 500 Anytime X Net Mins...The tariff itself is only available to via the O2 PAYG Retention Team.. You will have to buy a O2 PAYG Phone or Sim Card and use it for a little while then phone the Retention Dept and say you want to cancel the PAYG Number as your leaving O2. They may offer you the Discount 500 PAYG Tariff depending on your call spend.
I think the tariff costs about £25-£35 per month and is topped up using vouchers.

Look at cashback deals & you'll easily hit it. The offer T8RSP suggested would hit 500 dead on for a net cost of nothing over the year.
On a flext35 offer from mobileshop.com, you could get 900 minutes for a net cost of <£20p/m over 18 months.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0 -
I am in the same position. Select 500 is a very good deal, but the service Orange offers is going downhill faster than the lad on the bike in the Hovis ad.
I ended up getting a PAYG phone from orange. -Nokia 2600 for £25 and putting my Select 500 SIM in that. This leaves me free to cancel when I want not being tied in to a 12 or 18 month contract.I was disgusted with the upgrades that were offered to me on this tariff. Orange seem to give with one hand but take away with the other. I'll just hang on 'til something better comes along.
One point really annnoys me though. I don't know if it's just my phone/line, this tarriff or Orange in general, but the 'remaining minutes' information on 159 NEVER works a day or two before the billing month end date. I'm sure this is a ploy to get you to go over the allowed minutesLight blue touchpaper and stand well back !0 -
Looks like 3 prepay has a £25 top-up which gives 500 minutes & is valid for 30 days.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0
