If it's an old 4:3 (non-widescreen), you'll probably want to go up in size, as the same size in widescreen will look smaller.
If yours is a 32", you might want to get a 37".
we used to have a 28 inch widescreen crt and and now have a 40 inch lcd widescreen in the same place. so i guess you should be able to get a 40 inch lcd if that is what you fancy. we still use the stand from the old tv. i just thought i would post because i know it can be hard to work out what size tv can fit into the space.0 -
