Wow, that looks gorgeous! I love Devon/Cornwall. The price doesn't look too bad either, if you were sharing it among 20 people.

Yeah shes making the non family pay for their bit and we're having a 30's themed party - cocktails, dresses etc - pretty cool!

Pap - size 14 - wow! I find New Look on the small side and Asda normal size so dont be surprised if your slightly different in NL, but you should be that size in most other shops!

    Oooh sounds fab!

I find Asda quite generous, at least in skirts and dresses, jeans I find a bit on the small side if it's the ultra cheap ones.

PAP.....i could cry I am so proud of you. Your mum is having a lot of conflicting emotions at the moment, and the trouble is you are changing very fast, so she is having a hard time adjusting. I am pretty sure someone who brought up such a kind and considerate daughter as you is just having trouble adjusting..add to that her own weight issues, not getting any younger (that bit drives me nuts with my DD's - I'm not jealous, just mourning my passing youth) and I can see where she is coming from. I think you should give her constant reassurance that you still love her and that you haven't changed internally....

Hope no one is offended by this next bit...:rotfl:(especially Pooky and her OH but she does sound like she has a sense of humour)

My big sis had a wheelchair when she was younger but I think my ma only got it cos it was good for getting the washing up the big hill to the launderette...

Again...if it was today we would be in care :rotfl: a disabled 10 year old clinging on to a 9 year old pushing a wheelchair up the biggest hill you have ever seen with a bag of washing in it...

Then there were some steps near us...long flat steps..just perfect for shoving big sis down in the wheelchair - i hasten to add she too thought it was funny.
